Liam Hickey, 133 pounds, wrestles for Cardinal Gibbons High School. He was a two-time NCHSAA 4A state champion (132 lbs in 2025, 138 lbs in 2024) and four-time state placer (3rd in 2022 and 2023). A member of the NC United Blue program and competed on our inaugural NC United National team. Hickey owns numerous nationally ranked wins and has placed 4th at the 2025 NHSCA Nationals and 8th in 2024. He also made North Carolina history as the first wrestler to place at a Division I college open, finishing 4th at the Patriot Open. Liam earned the Dave Schultz award in 2025 for the state of North Carolina. Hickey carries a 3.8 GPA and committed to the University of North Carolina in 2025..
