Jake Amiott is a premier 5'8", 144/150-pound wrestler from Topsail High School who has rapidly established himself as one of North Carolina's elite competitors. Training out of the Sly Fox Wrestling Club (under coaches Willie Hilton and Steve Anceravage) and NC United, Jake combines an aggressive national freestyle and folkstyle schedule with elite academic performance, maintaining an impressive 4.10 GPA. High School Achievements Freshman Season (2024–2025): Secured a 5th-place finish at the NCHSAA 4A State Tournament in the 126-pound division. Sophomore Season (2025–2026): Finished the regular season with a dominant 37-1 record, ultimately placing 4th in the brutally competitive 4A 138-pound bracket to finish 44-4 overall. National & Freestyle Post-Season Results Fargo Nationals: Reached the podium to earn All-American honors in a highly competitive bracket, following a dominant 13-1 combined run for Team North Carolina at the 16U National Duals (Freestyle/Greco), where he earned All-Tournament Team honors. NHSCA Nationals: 4-2 record in NHSCA Individuals and a 6-3 record in NHSCA Duals, wrestling for Team Prestige Worldwide with a 4th-place team national finish. Additional National Events: Went undefeated in both individual and dual formats at the I-64 Duals and posted a stellar 10-2 record at the AAU National Duals. Upcoming Schedule & International TrainingSummer 2026: Traveling to Bulgaria for an international training camp under Coach Cleo Ncube. Fall 2026: Scheduled to train and compete at the Spartan Cup in Puerto Rico, followed by high-level tournaments Journeymen Fall Classic and Super 32.
