I started wrestling in the 7th grade and immediately knew this was my sport. I practice at either Trinity Top Team or Eyes on the Prize wrestling clubs throughout the week in addition to my school practices. I also attend NC United on Sundays. During the off season, I continue to attend club practices three times per week and attend tournaments on the weekends. I have been referred to as a “technician” when it comes to wrestling and I take great pride in that. I strive daily to do better and get better. Wrestling has taught me so much about myself and what I need to work on, not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well. My main goal is to become a State Champion before my high school career is over and I am willing to work hard and stay determined. I would love to continue my wrestling career after high school, two more years just doesn’t seem like enough.
